Birth Doula in San Diego

Doula comes from the Greek word, meaning, “to serve.” What an honor to serve a family during one of the most powerful and transformative times in their life. Doulas offer physical, emotional, and spiritual support to the laboring woman and her family. Through education, comfort measures, and by offering a calming presence, doulas can help the expectant family confidently take on the birth they desire.

Many scientific studies show that continuous labor support by a professional doula leads to lower invention rates, better outcomes for mothers and babies, and higher satisfaction rates with a family’s overall birth experience. Having a doula is invaluable in pregnancy and during your birth journey.
